none3An increasing interest is currently dedicated to the implementation of digital representation (smart-space) of complex physical spaces (a city, a private or public space, a vehicle), including people and real objects, to be identified, located or monitored. This way automatic and real-time collection of the information contained in a specified physical environment minimizes the human error and makes access to such information faster and easier. During this presentation it will be shown that low-power RFID technology combined with direction finding capabilities of a monopulse RADAR, operated at 2.45 GHz, may be successfully adopted for smart space creation. The device interaction (selection and location) with tagged objects distribute...
